Works on site have really got underway. Our contractor Blakedown and subcontractor Concrete Renovations have started planting the themed gardens, thatched the café and installed glass, making the building watertight. Surveys have been taken of the Boating Lake walls and reparation of the cracks has started.
Several community volunteers and Green Gym volunteers joined Ian and Duncan, our gardeners, to help plant up to 6,000 flowers and shrubs in the waterways. The site is really starting to transform.
